August 2008 - Mud Bucket Pottery, located on south Hwy 57 in Little River, SC is offering week-long summer pottery camps for children age  9 and older.

Classes are 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Monday thru Friday.  Each class has a limit of 8 students.  Students may enroll in more than one week. Dates are: August 11 - 15   Students will make pinch pots, hanging bird feeder plates, coil pots, slab boxes, whistles and maracas.  All materials are included in the $120 cost.  Classes are taught by Master of Arts teacher, Shirley Batten and Mud Bucket Pottery owner John Johnson.  To Register by phone call 843-399-8702 before 4:00 p.m. and 843-446-6630 after 4:00 p.m.  Mud Bucket Pottery Studio and Gallery now is located in its new facility, South 57 Plaza, that is 1/2 of a mile south of the Hwy 9 and Hwy 57 intersection at Bell & Bell Pontiac.
